There&#8217;s low light, and then there&#8217;s really, really low light\u00a0&#8230;\u00a0the kind of low light in which we can\u00a0shoot the stars. If you&#8217;re interested in astrophotography, Canon and Nikon have both produced DSLRs that are optimised for the task. I believe the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canon.co.uk\/for_home\/product_finder\/cameras\/digital_slr\/eos20da\/\" target=\"_blank\">Canon EOS 20Da<\/a> was the first DSLR specially designed for this purpose. Canon followed that up some years later with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canon.com.au\/en\/Personal\/Products\/Cameras-and-Accessories\/EOS-Digital-SLR-Cameras\/EOS-60Da\" target=\"_blank\">Canon EOS 60Da<\/a>. More recently, Nikon has produced the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nikon.com.au\/en_AU\/product\/digital-slr-cameras\/d810a\" target=\"_blank\">Nikon D810A<\/a>\u2014the newest mainstream DSLR for astrophotography.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past few days, Adam Woodworth has had articles on\u00a0the D810A published on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dpreview.com\/articles\/7282239436\/nikon-d810a-an-astrophotographers-perspective\" target=\"_blank\">Digital Photography Review<\/a> (7 July) and <a href=\"https:\/\/luminous-landscape.com\/nikon-d810a-review-landscape-astrophotography\/\" target=\"_blank\">Luminous Landscape<\/a> (11 July).
