In today’s issue of\u00a0The West Australian<\/em>, Camera Electronic\u00a0has advertised the Canon EF 70\u2013200 mm f\/2.8 IS II lens for $2,544, as well as the Canon EOS 700D and the Nikon D7200 at special prices (and both with kit zoom lenses).\u00a0If you’ve been waiting for a good price on this Canon lens, this is the cheapest I can remember seeing for it.<\/p>\n

Looking at Camera Electronic’s current specials<\/a> on-line, the Canon EOS 750D appears to be on special, too.\u00a0I also see that the Nikkor AF-S 70\u2013200 mm f\/2.8 VR II is at $2,438 (after cashback from Nikon). This is an amazing price for a professional-grade lens like this, and beats the previous low price of $2,538 that I noticed\u00a0last month<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Both the Canon and Nikon 70\u2013200 mm lenses above are top notch, heavy duty lenses. At f\/2.8, they’re still nowhere near as fast as the best prime lenses, but they do give you significant versatility with their focal length ranges and vibration reduction.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
