First Tae Kwon Do held a special grading examination in Perth recently, with one candidate undergoing the test for 1st Dan black belt. Following\u00a0a rigorous programme of breaking, sparring, patterns, and self-defence techniques, she was promoted by Master Vernon Low.<\/p>\n

For the photographs above, I shot with my Nikon D700 and Nikkor 70\u2013200 mm f\/2.8 zoom lens.\u00a0The lighting in the gymnasium was decent, otherwise I would have brought my Nikkor 85 mm f\/1.4 prime lens instead.\u00a0I was\u00a0shooting\u00a0at ISO 1600 with VR switched off.<\/p>\n
