Shooting football

Thom Hogan recently wrote about shooting football—not the type of football that most Australians would think about, but rather American football and association football (soccer). While he does go into some technical details about the cameras and lenses he shot with, he also devotes significant attention to photographic technique. The points he makes are applicable not just to field sports, but probably to most kinds of human-centred action. It’s well worth a read for anyone who has a serious interest in action photography.
